In 2013, we were privileged to work for our new client in Venezuela (name withheld upon client request) to provide them with a 10 tons ice making plant. Although this was not an unusual project, the uniqueness of this project, however, was to provide the plant within a very tight time schedule. This there presented a very good opportunity for Focusun to display our ability to offer comprehensive ice-making solution and allowing clients to enjoy the comfort provided by Focusun; not to mention quality product and services for very affordable price.
Project Summary
Challenge to design a set of equipments with no production interruption and less labor cost
Manufacture a tube ice machine with 10 tons ice daily output and ice packing machine within a tight timescale.
Lessen the labor cost and provide a fully-automatic ice making and packaging solutions.
A reliable PLC system to cope with machinery failure automatically.
A solution to create an automatic equipment
Create the full schematic of the project: 2 tube ice machines of 5tons/day placed together with both ice outlets facing to a big outlet connected to the fully-automatic ice packaging machine.
Composed of CJS2000-F electric weighing machine, FIP-01A packaging machine, platform and finished products belt conveyor, the automatic packaging unit can realize all functions including feeding, weighing, packing, filling, sealing, printing, punching (optional), counting etc.
PLC controller of the tube ice machine and the server motor of the packaging machine guarantee the auto operation and correction.

In 2012, commissioned by one colliery owner in Outer Mongolia, Focusun took the responsibility for its gold mining cooling project. Our mine cooling system is capable of keeping the underground permafrost from melting during April to December and ensuring the safety of workers underground.
Project Summary
Challenge to specify the cooling capacity
Formulate an accurate plan after taking all the elements into consideration, including volume of air flow, humidity, ambient temperature and internal temperature of the permafrost.
Make possible simulations to modify the plan repeatedly so as to draw an accurate conclusion.
During installation, restrict the choice of generator in the extra-deep mine.
A solution to repeatedly do the stimulations and keep improving the plan
Form a team consisting of 4 refrigeration engineers, 3 electrical engineers and 2 structural engineers and led by the vice president of the company. Everyone brought their wisdom into the team work and finished it superbly.
Make the bold hypotheses which are followed by the meticulous search for evidence. Keep elaborating the plan and after 4 versions are made, we finally hammered out the satisfying program.
Recommend the diesel generator to ensure the trouble-free operation of the mine cooling system.
India Block Ice Machine with ice crusher and delivery system
Focusun products and services have earned a very high reputation around the globe. Our reach extended to India where a new corporation was forged between Focusun and our Indian client (name withheld upon client's request).
In November of 2013, our service was urgently needed when our client in India called on us for help on their Direct System Block Ice Plant. After some trial runs of the direct system block ice plant, we noticed the technical problems and worked out a cost-effective solution for the client. We believe our work was more than successful as we have been able to continue our successful corporation on many other projects since.
Project Summary
Challenge to remove the ice blocks quickly and to start the next shift immediately
Remove entire batch of ice blocks coming out from the mold at one time and start the next ice-making shift right after the removal.
Avoid the shrimp spreading everywhere and filling every block with 20kg shrimp and 5kg water.
Lessen labor needed and figure out a fully-automatic ice making, crushing and delivery solutions.
A solution to create an automatic equipment
Suggest two trolleys made of SUS304 and installed between the mould and the bottom plate of the block ice machine.
Fit the bottom portion of the moulds with nets so that only water will enter to the other block and not shrimp.
Draw the full schematic of the project : 18 tons per day containerized direct system block ice plant with trolleys, ice crusher connected to the delivery system which can convey the crushed block ice directly to the fishing vessels.
